Review on Logan 5000 🔪 8-Ply Beveled Mat Cutter by Jennifer Roberts

I am an artist with some experience making mounts and frames. I wanted to save frames for the show so I decided to frame all 23 pieces myself. Due to an oversight on my part I bought an 8 ply mat board instead of a 6 ply so I had to buy that to cut the mats. As with any mat cutter, YOU MUST GET USED TO IT before you can accurately cut windows. The start/stop markers are actually more of a guide and may change depending on a number of factors such as: B. how far the blade is exposed, what brand of mat you're cutting, etc. I had to cut through a few practice mats before I was able to figure out where my start/stop marks actually were. When I found out that cutting carpet became pretty easy. A NOTICE. Buy extra blades! Blades need to be changed frequently to get a clean cut. I changed the blade every three or four mats just to be sure.
