Colors fade over time.
The ring has been worn for about a year and I have noticed that the color is starting to fade. Now it's just dark silver instead of black and shiny grey. I think that's ok since we only paid about $24 for it. It held its shape but the color we loved was gone. My husband is quite "thrifty" so we won't buy a new one until it breaks.
