When I bought the projector, I was given a new Sanyo brand replacement lamp. The standard bulb died after 200 hours so I replaced it with a spare bulb. The replacement part lasted less than 300 hours and exploded without warning. I was concerned that the bulb explosion would damage the project, so I didn't want to spend $200-$250 on a bulb. I found these and replaced them. This went on for 1200 hours and then it got darker and darker for the last 50 hours. I ordered the same lamp and replaced it. Easy work for 3 minutes. It looks as good as a $250 Sanyo lightbulb and is easy to replace.
