I bought these to protect our floors from bench legs. The tacky felt version we have used in the past has chipped over time and I have purchased similar, smaller caps for our dining room chairs and am happy with them. My bench legs don't match the sizes these baseball caps are supposed to fit, even at the largest end of the range, and still they didn't work. I will explain. These caps are rounded but fit any foot (from item description). My benches are a combination of round and square legs so I bought them thinking they would fit everyone. They were pretty easy to install. Since my bench legs were large, I had to stretch a bit to find the narrowest part (neck?) around them and then sit on them properly. But they were on, looked good, and worked great. About 3 days. Then those on my square meters spread to the sides. A few days later (maybe even within the first week) the legs of my round bench legs started to split piece by piece. I may have come across a poor quality batch but I would NOT recommend them. In less than a week, they all had to be thrown in the trash.
