Review on ALTRA Men's AL0A547F Torin Athletic Running Shoes by Octavius Webster

This is a great compromise shoe that works really well as a casual shoe. Go long, go fast, they do it, with comfort and well-placed toes. Warning: My big toenail fell off after running my third half in this shoe. Trying to understand why, I looked closely and realized they were too short. I should have noticed it right from the start, but I didn't. So my nail kept hitting the front of the shoe. I don't know if my pair was unusual or something, but check carefully before using (as it's too late for me to return/exchange). Size 11 from all the other brands I've tried fits well, maybe they should have been 11-1/2.
