Too small! the best in my rating

Blue insole from my Altra Lone Peak 6. Black from Torin 5. Both say they are the same size...10.5. I was expecting the toe box to be a bit smaller, as Single Pikes are known to be wider, but two shoes from ONE COMPANY are sized so differently it's ridiculous. In addition, the processing quality of these sneakers does not come close to the quality of individual peaks. From now on I will definitely stick with Single Peaks. Very disappointed in these shoes

    Pros
    • Stylish design that goes with most outfits
    Cons
    • Can't be very stylish or trendy

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

Language spoils everything in my evaluation.

Wide toe, comfortable insole, but the tongue is too high, with sharp edges, stiff and digs into the shin. Doesn't decay over time.

    Pros
    • Fantastic combination of gray and lime colors
    Cons
    • May not be suitable for diabetics

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Altra Thorin 5 is in my review.

Love these shoes very much. Fits great on my feet. I like the sock in the shape of the foot. Lots of cushioning. Exactly what I was looking for.

    Pros
    • They're great for wide feet, and they're actually shaped like a foot...or at least my foot. Run 30-40 miles a week
    Cons
    • The tongue of the shoe is thin and has no padding. Unfavorable

Altra Thorin is the best in my rating

I've always liked this Altra Torin more than any other shoe because it has stayed on my feet better for long periods of time than anything else I've tried. These concrete ones seem cheap though, so we'll see how they hold up. If it stays the same, I'll be happy

    Pros
    • Shoes are easy to clean and maintain
    Cons
    • May not be suitable for people with calluses or calluses

The most comfortable shoes. These are running shoes but for standing all day and walking a lot to work they are superior to any shoe I have tried in terms of comfort. 100% will buy these again

    Pros
    • Good choice for outdoor activities like hiking or camping
    Cons
    • May not be suitable for those with stress fractures

    favorite for comfort

This is a gift as my son says these are the most comfortable shoes he has ever had. He asked for another pair. He usually takes 11, but he needed 12 in this one, so he seems a bit short.

    Pros
    • The shoes feel nice, are comfortable, but are definitely half a size larger.
    Cons
    • Too tight around the ankle and tongue. No flexibility like my Torin 3. Can't wear it.

    Revainrating 2 out of 5

Worn out after 3 short runs (1.5 months)

Comfortable and very light, but the fabric on the top wears out after just a month and a half of light use. Right after the return window

    Pros
    • Comes with a zero-drop platform that provides a stable platform for any activity
    Cons
    • May not be suitable for people with flat feet

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    Does it in my review

Brothers, I weigh 240 pounds and have lost 10 pounds since I started wearing these shoes. shoes are good. Very soggy. Good for heavyweights. Works great on the road and treadmill. Zero Drop, foot-shaped sock! Yes indeed !

    Pros
    • Soft and soft yet comfortable to stand on. Really good shoes, I have no complaints or improvements.
    Cons
    • May be too tight or too loose for some people

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good but not great in my rating.

I have had several pairs of Altra shoes and this was the first pair that did not fit me. I like that they are lightweight but overall they are smaller and not as good as other pairs I've had.

    Pros
    • Made from high quality materials that won't tear or wear out easily
    Cons
    • May not be suitable for those with anterior tibialis syndrome.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Happy Tutsis are the best in my rating

These shoes fit as expected. They are comfortable once you get used to the minor heel-to-toe hop. They make me run very fast.

    Pros
    • Shoes fit like a glove, soft and light on the foot. The shape is like your foot! I recently ran my best 5K. Not bad. Good price.
    Cons
    • Can be difficult to clean and maintain

    Revainrating 2 out of 5

    Too much tongue on Athletic

The shoe itself is amazing but the tongue is a major design flaw and makes this version literally unwearable. It digs right into the front of the ankle.

    Pros
    • Nice to use
    Cons
    • Definitely bad product

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

Part of the sole falls off after 1 month of very infrequent use. *Update*

If the sole didn't fall off I would love these shoes. Very convenient, but if it loses momentum, it becomes useless. Update - ALtra sent me a new pair. Excellent customer service. I hope the second pair lasts!

    Pros
    • Nice packaging
    Cons
    • Communication with seller

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

    Very short laces

Great shoes! The support, fit and comfort of this shoe is great. The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is because they have very short laces. You can't loosen the laces too much or you won't be able to tie them. I contacted the company and they didn't have longer ones in that color, only black. Really disappointing as the rest of the shoes are amazing!

    Pros
    • Very impressive
    Cons
    • Negative impression

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

They don't fit as well as Torin 4

I have worn several pairs of Torin 4, they fit well and are very comfortable. These Torin 5s (same size as the Torin 4) feel smaller and feel MUCH more snug than the Torin 4. I thought Altra made these shoes with wider toes; definitely NOT the Torin 5. Be warned if you liked previous versions of this shoe, it's not the same. I will have to return this pair.

    Pros
    • Few competitors
    Cons
    • So far so good

    Revainrating 1 out of 5

Imperfect tongue design (AVOID Torin 5 version)

I am very disappointed with the tongue design of this revision (Torin 5). It's hard and sharp and cut my ankle. But not like a blister, it literally hit my ankle. I never had this problem in previous versions (<4.5) or any other shoe. I wonder if a concept went straight from a sketch on a napkin into production without testing, it's very impractical. The rest of the shoes are ok. Skip this and try to find Torin 4.5.

    Pros
    • practical item
    Cons
    • Other Other

Great shoe overall, good for road running

This is probably my tenth pair of Torins. Overall I'm impressed. I no longer have blisters. I like these shoes BUT they started tying the tongue in a way that makes it sharp. I cut the binding when I take it out of the box. He cut me several times or injured the front of my ankle. Thorin should definitely change this in future versions as wearing these short toed shoes will be problematic without modifying the shoes. Another problem is that the laces are too short.

    Pros
    • Decent performance
    Cons
    • Slightly wrinkled

    The wide toe is impressive!

These are my new five day hiking shoes. Lightweight and very comfortable, with a wide toe box, almost like Birkenstock. As I understand it, there is no tipping back and forth. They do not aggravate my pain in my right leg. The heel that the heel sits on seems a little flimsy to me but not too much of a problem other than it needs a little more maintenance when putting the shoes on. I really hope the outsole material is strong enough to last a while. In general I am satisfied with them. I would…

    Pros
    • Stylish and modern design
    Cons
    • I vaguely remember

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

    Wide Range of Features

This is a great compromise shoe that works really well as a casual shoe. Go long, go fast, they do it, with comfort and well-placed toes. Warning: My big toenail fell off after running my third half in this shoe. Trying to understand why, I looked closely and realized they were too short. I should have noticed it right from the start, but I didn't. So my nail kept hitting the front of the shoe. I don't know if my pair was unusual or something, but check carefully before using (as it's too late…

    Pros
