Would not make this purchase again. After considering both Canon and Panasonic, I decided to go with the well-known "Leica" brand of optics instead. You can tell that I made a mistake because this optics is not felt at all. In passing, I'd like to mention that the Canon camera we use at work (I can't recall the specific name, but at a price like the TZ6, it shoots considerably better indoors) was purchased above 10,000 dollars. Compared the images on the computer with those printed out. Some pros: Good zoom. Ideal for taking photographs in natural settings. The battery is extremely content, as evidenced by the fact that it continues to function normally for a significant number of shots (I am unable to be more specific regarding this matter because there was never an issue in which there was insufficient charging). Some cons: Complete agreement with the prior viewpoint. It is a terrible idea to shoot photographs indoors using artificial illumination. The graphics are unclear and hazy, and the colors have been severely altered (for example, purple has turned blue, and red is completely ineffective). However, in the interest of full disclosure, I will mention that it is possible, at least in some circumstances, to use the intelligent mode to capture an image inside.
