This is an update of my comment below. After applying the reflective vinyl I felt it fair to re-evaluate this product. Based on my previous comment about the texture and quality of the reflection, this vinyl looks very nice and while it doesn't look chromed it still looks fantastic. The only problem I have is that it's quite difficult to cut due to the thickness. I believe that because it's a thicker vinyl and doesn't stretch (as the manufacturer claims) it applies very well and heats up without much effort, no stretching required. The application was a single propeller-like spiral curve, while other cheap vinyl films, although of the elastic type, did not work as well as VViViD and adhesion was excellent. It's been in place for about 3 weeks, outside in rain and sun and a few washes and still looks great. I use a cleaning polish that works very well with reflective vinyl except for the cheap stretch vinyls. I would love to give this product 5 stars but the fact that it is more difficult to cut on the spot prevents me from doing the last one ☆ I would also say that I have changed my mind and will buy/will buy again . i am corrected I am leaving my previous comments so people can read exactly where I went wrong. That's not the quality of 3M vinyl, of course, but it's not the price either. I tested adhesion on a smooth, clean surface alongside less expensive vinyl. The adhesion of VViViD is actually worse than smaller vinyl and the release is much easier than cheap vinyl. As for the "mirror" finish of VViViD Silver Mirror, I found that due to the light texture, the reflectivity was also lower than cheap vinyl. I will still use the VViViD vinyl as the app is a bit obscure, I will not be requesting a refund. With my comment, I don't condone cheap vinyl, the chrome loses its finish pretty quickly and starts to delaminate, and what's under the reflective layer is ugly. I will most likely NOT be buying any VViViD products in the future and if 3M made "mirror chrome" I would not be reviewing a VViViD product.
