this was my first foray into vinyl and I have to say it went very well. was able to apply the product to the cylindrical tube (telescope) without bubbles or wrinkles. I didn't even have to use a hair dryer. However, the cast mirror chrome finish was pretty poor. There were 2 seriously obvious long scratches on the surface running diagonally (prior to application) and every 2 inches there was a fogged up portion of the surface where it was quite obvious that the rollers used in the machines…

This is an update of my comment below. After applying the reflective vinyl I felt it fair to re-evaluate this product. Based on my previous comment about the texture and quality of the reflection, this vinyl looks very nice and while it doesn't look chromed it still looks fantastic. The only problem I have is that it's quite difficult to cut due to the thickness. I believe that because it's a thicker vinyl and doesn't stretch (as the manufacturer claims) it applies very well and heats up…
