Terrible adhesive base, great suction.
I would give five stars if the adhesive backing was helpful. We cleaned the dash, made sure it was dry, applied the adhesive backing, and then attached the suction cup. The base slipped off within minutes and if you move the car a little it will fall down. So we removed the adhesive backing and just used a suction cup. Now the thing works. We tested it in the neighborhood and it held my Galaxy s20+ perfectly (with wallet phone case). Easy installation and high suction power.
