Review on ๐Ÿ“ธ Enhance Your GoPro Experience with the Rogeti Slopes Black โ€“ A Versatile Instant Stand in Housing by Kendra Smith

Revainrating 5 out of 5

PERFECT for GoPro Hero 5 (with frame attached)

Let me get this straight for anyone who might be concerned after seeing the low reviews that this doesn't fit a GoPro Hero 5 : I bought the Slopes - Black and perfect for GoPro Hero 5 if you have a plastic frame case (officially known as a frame mount). It has a very snug fit with just enough resistance to securely lock your GoPro into the mount, but not so much that it's uncomfortable getting your GoPro in and out of the stand. Here's Why It's Good: Get in the habit of ALWAYS leaving your GoPro in the frame mount whenever possible. The GoPro Hero 5 (and 6/7?) is a touchscreen and the ONLY thing that keeps your digital screen from getting scratched when you lay your GoPro face up on a surface is the protrusion from the frame mount ( holding the flat side). the camera). surface camera). Does the Slopes rack work without a frame mount? Theoretically yes, in several main positions. It will be VERY loose, it may be a bit flimsy to balance it, and it may wobble a bit if it's very windy. But I've tested the GoPro bare-bones and in theory it can be made to work bare-bones (but that's NOT ideal). Product Construction: The product is an expertly crafted piece of molded plastic that will likely last you a lifetime. It's virtually weightless, fits in the palm of your hand, and attaches to your GoPro (frame-mounted) in almost seconds. No screwing, fiddling with handles or playing with small moving parts. It is intuitive and requires no instruction. Product Design: The Slopes Black binding I received has "Slopesโ€ branding on one side of the binding and clear "ROGETIโ€ engraving on the other. GoPro labels almost all of its products. Small branding doesn't bother me. If that bothers you and you want it to be more subtle and stealthy, a felt-tip pen will come in handy. Functionality: This mount is perfect for many occasions. I travel the world alone and don't regularly have someone to photograph. However, there is usually a ledge, bench, rock, or curb somewhere nearby that is either too low or too high to place a GoPro camera on it. This bracket is ideal for such cases. Solo Traveler + Slopes + GoPro Voice Command Mode = PERFECTION! More options with the tilt stand: - An option if you don't have a selfie stick for a group shot - Place your GoPro at a height to use the built-in time-lapse. Function and get an overview video clip (or vice versa from the bottom) - Placement on the bottom of the pool to get a better angle shot of your swim (as opposed to GoPro's usual "swimming right over the top" face up) - And many other ideas. The package contains 18 positions for which this bracket can be used. CONS: One could argue that the current list price of $12 is a bit steep. But I'd say it's a fraction of the price GoPro would have quoted. worth $$$. 5 Stars. (This is an unsponsored review and I'm in no way affiliated with the product or brand. I'm just traveling alone leaving my honest thoughts on a GoPro all-rounder that's perfect for me.)
