As a display player - 5 stars. As a photo player - 3 stars.

Typically a photo turntable can be set to stop at a specific angle. More beautiful models sync to the camera so the camera takes a photo when the turntable stops, automating the photo series - especially for 3D models and VR. There is no way to make the specified angles. For example, rotate in 15 degree increments. Only 120 degrees are automated. Settings 45, 90 and 180 go back and forth - there is no rotation in these steps. So if you use the 90 degree preset, it will rotate 90 degrees and then rotate back. There's also no programmable pause - rotate 45 degrees, for example. Wait. Rotate 45 degrees. Wait. This is useful when picking up products with loose parts, e.g. B. Earrings. When the turntable stops, they shake for a while. The pause allows the whole movement to calm down. The main options this has are obviously intended for retail displays and not photography. For photography, this comes in handy when working within its confines. For example, customize it with the product, adjust the lighting, camera, etc. Press start. press pause. Fire. Press the PLAY button. Repeat.Rotation is not smooth - it uses a stepper motor and moves in tiny increments. This can be noticeable when you record videos. For accurate angles, your only option is to mark the sides like a compass and rotate and stop manually. The turntable can handle a significant amount of weight (220 pounds), especially given the size. You can put a full set of snorkel gear or a fully dressed dummy (provided you can attach it) on top. It's very easy to use - just don't lose the remote control. There is no other way to control it.
