Poor quality lights and lighting accessories

While trying to find a set of clips to adjust the angle of the pen lights I came across these universal mounts which I thought were very well designed. I was pleased to see that the adjustments were secured by a pre-drilled set screw on the adjustable part. However: the pre-drilled holes for the grub screws did not line up, resulting in one pin leaning slightly forward and the other leaning back. I've tried several combinations to bring them together but to no avail. Second, the rubber inserts that make it "universal" had to be ground down to fit one of the advertised mounting bars. Overall the design was good, but the quality control leaves something to be desired. In the end I just decided to throw them away and look for a better kit.

Pros
  • UNMATCHED VERSATILITY - Take it anywhere with a clamp that's as flexible as your car. These clamps include adapters for 1", 1.5", 1.75" and 2" rods, as well as two different length mounting necks with bolts for additional spacing adjustment.
Cons
  • Damaged
