I bought these for my 12 year old son who loves video games and plays cross platform PS4, PSVR, Nintendo Switch and PC. With so many different games I really underestimate how much he will use the headset and started out by buying one of the cheap $25 headsets which was a favorite but after about 6 months they died so I tried one other brand out, 4-6 months. passed. So I finally decided that he needed a quality headset, it should be wireless. This has always been a source of error. Mainly because he subconsciously enjoyed chewing on the cable like a mad gerbil or just twisting it into knots. I looked at a few pairs and started buying a PS4 headset but gave up after seeing multiple reviews saying it was broken. I chose Corsair, a well-known brand, and they weren't disappointed. They feel strong and durable, the matte finish gives them a professional look and the color changing logo gives them a premium look. Pairing with PS4 was easy and straightforward. One caveat: we couldn't get the mic to work, it stayed red when muted, and we couldn't figure out how to get it to work. I found a video on YouTube that appeared to install the software and pair it with a PC. Looks like some updates are being downloaded to the headset, problem solved, my son loves them!
