I was skeptical when I saw that this leash is made in China but I have had it for about two years now and am very happy with it. The leather is holding up great, no tears, no dryness, no tears and the stitching is still in perfect condition (compared to other leashes I've had where the stitching gets tangled over time). The leather is soft and supple, very comfortable and "gives" well when the dog pulls, so your hand isn't pulled too hard but still has full control. The fittings are well preserved, no rust, no obvious defects. My dog is a medium sized dog and doesn't pull much on the leash so he's not as leash demanding as some dogs but I'm very happy with this leash and think it may very well be the only leash I've ever had will Must be bought for my dog!
