This works much better than wet boots. My horse currently has a hoof abscess and the hoof needs to be soaked twice a day. Unfortunately, my expensive drinking boot is no longer suitable due to the medical shoeing of my horses. We tried using a big bucket but he kept tipping it over. I bought this product because it was relatively inexpensive, durable, easy to put on and could be used on multiple horses regardless of size. I like multiple straps because I can attach the boot in multiple places and no leaks. I wrap the straps twice to ensure a secure fit. I've been using these boots twice a day for over 2 weeks and so far so good!
