This was a great investment in organizing our cluttered garage! We have four teenagers and six bikes. In winter we lift the bikes and put both cars in the garage. In the summer, on the other hand, six bikes take over, four sets of golf clubs, three club bags, etc. Before they got this rack, the kids just parked their bikes somewhere, sometimes so close to my car that I couldn't even open the door! Enter this bike rack. Now the kids (as well as mom and dad) have their own dedicated spot to store their bikes, making it much more likely that the garage will be tidy and it's obvious who parked their bike wrong. The shelf concept solved our storage problem. The choice of this special stand was also successful. It arrived very quickly and was so easy to put together that we were able to quickly take it apart for winter storage. It is very strong and looks beautiful. We have a combination of mountain bikes and hybrids. We get six bikes no problem. It is best to use the rear wheels, but the children used the front wheels without any problems. Note that you will have three bikes on one side and three on the other, so this will take up quite a bit of space. However, it takes up much less space than six bikes parked in different directions!
