Simple, mod required for 12 " wheels, fits snugly on MTB tires

Simple and functional. The bearing shafts are very narrow for my 2.3″ wide MTB tires, I can mount them, but I have to be careful with the rack, 2.2 and smaller should fit. In theory, you could use wider spacing between the intended tire slots, but with a looser fit. The bottom rails are positioned normally for 16" and larger wheels. I tied a 2x4 stub to the rail on one side so that it accommodates 12" wheels without permanent modifications (pictured).

Directness in cycling

Stable bike stand. We use it in our garage to store two adult bikes and three kids bikes. In fact, it could comfortably fit four adult or teenage bikes, but one of ours is a tiny kids bike that manages to sit over the handlebars of other bikes. These are parking bikes on either side of the stand. Assembly was easy and I took it apart by myself in maybe 15 minutes. Although this was primarily a shipping issue, the box itself was not strong and the parts were poorly packaged from the start so…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Bike Rack - Yes, holds 6 bikes

This is a good bike rack, but with good reason it can only hold 4.2 bikes per side. The handles are annoying. If you have a large front fork, you should also use the inner of the two outer upper tubes at the front of the upper tube. TO UPDATE. TO UPDATE. TO UPDATE. TO UPDATE. TO UPDATE. Space for everything saves you from cluttering up your garage!

This was a great investment in organizing our cluttered garage! We have four teenagers and six bikes. In winter we lift the bikes and put both cars in the garage. In the summer, on the other hand, six bikes take over, four sets of golf clubs, three club bags, etc. Before they got this rack, the kids just parked their bikes somewhere, sometimes so close to my car that I couldn't even open the door! Enter this bike rack. Now the kids (as well as mom and dad) have their own dedicated spot to store

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • No instructions

Sturdy rack but flaws for modern mountain bikes

Good things first: It's a solid rack made from heavy gauge steel tubing, top notch fit and finish. I am very happy with this aspect of the product. I chose this rack because it allows bikes to be placed on either side to better fit the long shape of the free space in the garage. Assembly is very simple, just 8 nuts and bolts, and it takes about 10 minutes to assemble. The reason I only gave it 3 stars is because it doesn't fit all tire sizes contrary to the product description. I really wish…
