Good product! Has everything I need - plays any DVD, CD, CR-R, DVD-Audio etc. I first bought it to make DVDs from the Sony HandyCam. Works like a champ! The HandyCam captures digitally if you use the right connection, so there is no loss of quality. The on-screen function/configuration menus are a little confusing, but after going through them a few times everything is fine. After the initial setup, you don't need to go there except to record from the camera. The picture quality is as good as any other DVD player I've seen.
