Bought for Microsoft Surface Pro 2017. At $10 I had very little expectations from this case. In general I am satisfied. As described, it's made of thick faux leather, and the flap and back look like they have cardboard cores. It looks good and fits well, but I would never trust it one bit. For those looking for a folio case *without* magnets, this flip-top cover closes with two magnets. I had a very similar case for my old Surface RT and the magnets were strong enough to interfere with the on/off and sleep functions. In this case I used a razor to remove the magnets which was easy enough.
