Review on Danco 46004 REPLACEMENT HANDLE Chrome by Michael Hellewell

I started a bathroom renovation and wanted to change the bath and shower fixtures. What was my surprise when I found out that this is much harder than changing visible parts. After some research I came across these pens. I was glad I could upgrade my bad looking Pfister Windsor grips to something much better looking. Why I'm giving 1 star: I couldn't figure out how to size plastic sticks with blurry directions. They give you a small plastic size that you put on old size rods with instructions telling you that once you've found the right size look at the numbers next to the hole in the size chart and match them with the same number match to spud. Sounds easy. Truth? It was'nt easy. It was not easy to tell which number was for which hole, and also there were a few numbers on the crankcase that barely matched the numbers on the calibrator. To complicate matters further, the studs were of different lengths and there was no indication of how to determine the correct length. I finally gave up and used an adjustable metal bobby pin. Installation was pretty easy, slide it over the stem and evenly tighten all 3 bolts with the Allen key provided. Then I assembled the rest and figured out which screw would fit. None of them looked like the screws I had, but so far it's working. I have no idea about the durability as I installed it 3 days ago. Aside from some vague instructions, everything went pretty smoothly. For those who have no idea how to do this, it probably took me no more than 10 minutes to install each button. Thank you thank you!
