Two things to say about this. One is about quality, the other is about size. Quality: I was hoping for something heavier. I've worn high quality waffle kimonos/robes (in 5* hotels) and this look doesn't fit. I suspected it wasn't 100% cotton (60% cotton, 40% polyester). But I still took the risk. The material is a lot thinner than I would like, especially for the price. I paid about $50 for it, but now I don't think I would have paid more than half that amount. (I would definitely pay $50 for the high quality waffle cotton kimonos/robes I've worn to 5 star hotels). I want something lighter. Not so good when it's cold outside and you want something heavy and warm. Size: Again, a risk taken. This is not so much the manufacturer's fault as it is my fault, but I hope my notes will help others. I've had mixed reviews about the size in previous reviews. Some said the robe was larger than expected, others smaller. When I bought this robe, there were only two sizes: Medium/Large and X-Large/XX-Large. I'm 5'7" and about 150 pounds. I would have ordered a small if it had been available, but I took a chance and ordered a medium/large hoping it would fit smaller than expected (as some have reported). Well, it fits like Medium/Large: It was a bit bigger than I would have liked. On the product image, the sleeves show that they reach below the elbows and when standing, they reach mid-calf. That would be the perfect fit. When the bathrobe arrived I tried it on brand new out of the box. The sleeves fell just below my wrist—too long, so long I felt like I had to roll them up to keep them out of the way while washing dishes. And the length was just a few inches above my ankle. It was disappointing. It's wearable but not perfect, and for the asking price, perfect. I've since put the bathrobe in the washing machine and dryer. It's shrunk a bit, which is good for me. The sleeves now fall just above my wrist and are about 6 inches above my ankles. Better, but still not perfect. It may shrink even more in subsequent washes and dryers. Conclusion: OK, but not perfect for the price. The material isn't as heavy as I'd like and the sizing wasn't what I expected (partly my fault as I'd have to order a small one if it was in stock, but I took a risk by I stumbled across some reports saying this size was smaller than expected.) I hope this helps others to make an informed decision.
