I have a "color disorder" - I'm not color blind, but red and green seem a bit duller than others to me. From the instructions, I expected the results to look "yellow" or "red". Instead I found that the negative result looked yellow-orange and the positive result looked rusty (see attached photo). Example: To get a clear negative test result (no lead), follow the instructions for a test, but do not touch anything in that test. To get a clear positive test result (which likely contains lead), follow the instructions for the second test by touching the lead-soaked paper included in the kit. Once I could see what the positive and negative results looked like, it was easy for me to use the paint test kit on a vintage watch case that I wanted to polish. Long story short, now that I know what to expect, I found a test suite. Easy to use.
