From March 24, 2021 a color rendering index of 83+ is explicitly claimed in this offer. The box that arrived is marked CRI: 80. I might still buy the bulbs if the list was correct as 83:80 seems like a relatively small difference. Personally, however, they give the room a very eye-catching teal hue, which is quite uncomfortable. The most obvious is the effect on skin tone, which is quite painful. Reminds me of the bad old days of early fluorescent lighting. Unfortunately, fluorescent technology soon improved as well. Overall brightness is excellent, and lumens/watts are good too, but they shouldn't be used in a residential setting unless you're actively concerned with color rendering and don't mind giving guests the impression that you're seriously ill are.
