Maybe a quality control issue. tinted light.

I bought these bulbs this summer to replace some of my Revain Great Eagle A19 5000K bulbs that broke and noticed a weird yellowish light. I thought it might just be a lightbulb because it was on the porch but we compared it to a house lamp indoors and the light is terrible. It cannot or should not be called daylight. An oppressive shade that sucks for artwork, exposed photos and the kitchen. I removed both to send back and find more Great Eagles if possible.

Wrong color rendering index on offer → painful color rendering in reality

From March 24, 2021 a color rendering index of 83+ is explicitly claimed in this offer. The box that arrived is marked CRI: 80. I might still buy the bulbs if the list was correct as 83:80 seems like a relatively small difference. Personally, however, they give the room a very eye-catching teal hue, which is quite uncomfortable. The most obvious is the effect on skin tone, which is quite painful. GREAT LIGHT OFFER! BEST LAMPS!

I was VERY hesitant to buy LED bulbs because my only experience with them was not very good - they lit up a second or two after switching on and it was driving me crazy! It might not sound like much, but when you walk into a dark room and turn on the light, you don't want to wait for the light to come on! Not so with these!
