Good height, stability etc.

Good product, good design. First we bought a smaller plastic stage. I was very happy with it but it was too low and my son couldn't get up high enough to reach the sink. He just wasn't old enough. So I went in search of something higher that would give him a chance to get to the sink. It was the best I've found. Fairly easy to assemble (maybe 15 minutes - 10 screws). Very durable and surprisingly heavy. My son is 2 and usually needs help to move him. At least for now. There's a "con" - if you're like us, you most likely have it in the bathroom, where most of the sinks are. Bathrooms often have wet floors, so I was a little worried my son might slip on them. The step is made of laminate which can hypothetically become slippery when wet or if not perfectly fitted. So I bought some transparent sandpaper that looks like duct tape, actually rough vinyl tape. At least that's what I call it. It's made by 3M and I bought it from Ace Hardware for $3. This is a transparent version of the black tape you see on the stairs to ensure a better grip on the support. It's almost invisible in the clear version, and I'm now of the opinion that it "probably" won't shift when it gets wet either.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
