Installed in a Siemens Residential Load Center. You have purchased a Siemens 50A double pole circuit breaker (you must purchase a circuit breaker compatible with your own load center). Installation was very easy. Turn off the power at the main switch in the load center. Before installing I turned off the 50 amp switch. Installed a 50 amp switch on the bus bar. Installed Eaton surge protector (mounting method depends on load center configuration). I connected the green wire to the ground rail, the white (neutral) wire to the neutral strip, the red wire to one of the 50 amp switches, and the black wire to the other 50 amp switch. All wiring checked. Main switch switched on. Turned on the 50 amp switch. Everything is OK. Both LEDs on the mains filter light up. As always, if you are unfamiliar with electricity and installing electrical components, hire a certified electrician.
