Well designed and made. Has unique properties. Exceeds expectations.

Despite the fact that there are few reviews about this coffee grinder, it deserves more attention. The entire bowl with blades attached can be easily removed. With a little twist you can lift it straight up. You no longer have to turn the grinder upside down to pour the ground coffee into the plastic lid and send it to the coffee maker. Just take out the bowl and pour the coffee grounds into the filter. And then you can wash the bowl. (We only hand washed it). The durable, clear plastic lid is also easy to clean. Despite the fact that the grinder is compact and does not take up much space on the table, the metal bowl is deep and well constructed so that the grist does not fall onto the blades from the sides during grinding. Grind evenly and the powdery grist will no longer stick to the underside of the lid and splatter all over the place (I look at you every grinder with burrs). The rest of the grinder, which includes the motor, stays absolutely clean. While we typically only grind 1/2 cup of beans at a time, the deep bowl means we can easily grind more at once. The coffee grinder feels solid, especially the details on the bottom of the metal bowl and where they snap into place. We haven't used the second 4-bladed metal bowl yet (it's for garlic and other not-quite-dry materials). Each bowl comes with a flat, sealed, clear plastic lid (!). I guess that's just in case you want to grind something that you're going to keep and not use right away. This flat lid does not fit under the clear plastic lid that needs to be locked in place for the grinder to work. It would be even better if it were, but then again the grinder is neat, so it's more a question of how and if you want to store those flat lids. This grinder doesn't have a fancy timer or grinder setting. The longer you hold your finger on the grind button, the finer your grains will become. The grinder is still fairly new but I can say that it grinds faster and not noisier than any other grinder we have had. Overall really good value for money.
