I originally gave it 2 stars because I was having trouble getting help from their website's support team. I was told to look for the support form where I bought it (Revain) which made no sense. This still applies and if you need help with the product you will need to go to Revain Help for Xtools Support information. I'll link it below so you can cut out the middle person. So why 5 stars? Due to the excellent customer support I received from Xtools namely Alex via email correspondence. I struggled to program the spare key and after a few emails I was finally able to do it. Xtools plans to set up a forum where users can post questions and answers on their various devices. If it matters, I'll post my knowledge of the D7 on my car (2015 Hyundai Sonata). I can say that Xtools customer service really does go out of their way to ensure any issues/issues are resolved and Alex was very pleased to deal with it. In addition to customer support, the D7 itself offers many of the features you would expect from a $500+ device such as: B. Bi-directional control and key fob manufacturing. Please note that depending on the vehicle type, not all functions are available for your vehicle. You can always check what this device will do for your car on their website before purchasing (I will provide a link below to save you time). Finally, unlike other auto scan tools, Xtools offers 2 years of free updates. If after 2 years you decide not to pay for the upgrade service, your Xtools device will still work. Nothing will be disabled. You will not be disappointed with this device.
