I like it. I would buy it again

Works as intended. It has a matte finish, machined look. This protects the recording label from abrasion and likely helps reduce unwanted vibration. It's probably one of the ways it manages to stabilize the record without the added weight of the record clamps I'm used to.

Good quality weight, I just didn't measure before hand, so I can't close the lid while using it.

Extra weight to LPs playing seems to add extra depth to the sound - definitely more low end!

Nicely made 4 ounce weight. But there is not mechanism that clamps the device to the spindle.
