At first I really liked this coffee maker for its thin profile and convenience. However, after 4 months of use, the lid of this coffee maker no longer stays closed. It opened in the middle of making coffee, which is clearly not ideal. Upon inspecting this machine, I found that this was due to the poor design of the locking tabs. The tabs are spring loaded. So when you open the lid, the springs should push the locking tabs back into place. However, as you can see in my video, this no longer happens and the tabs only go back part way (I reattached the tabs myself before pressing the release lever). Apparently it only takes 4 months for this thing to wear out. If you don't want to manually lock the latches every time you brew a cup of coffee, don't buy this machine. The seller didn't fix this problem - his only advice was to press the lid harder, which I already did in the explanatory video I sent him. I haven't heard from their support lines in days. Edit: Over four months after I posted this, the seller tried to bribe me into removing my review. Simply put, it did not improve my opinion of the seller.
