I have always used Danshuz because everyone else has used it and it was available locally. I've invested in bandages and mole skin pads to protect my feet because I figured it was fine. No longer. These shoes changed my thinking forever. They were soft and stretchy right out of the box. They have a very soft pad on the Achilles heel. They fit perfectly right out of the box. You sound great. I will never use any other brand again. I'm so happy! I usually wear regular women's shoes from size 8.5 to 9. I measured my foot according to the chart in the pictures and shrugged. My dancing shoes never match, but these do. I ordered size 9. My feet are a bit wider at the toes and I have enough room. I may never take them off. To measure your foot, put on the regular socks you usually wear and then stand on a piece of paper. Shift all of your weight onto this leg. Draw a line at the top of the big toe and at the back of the heel. Take a ruler and measure this gap. Then look at the photos of the product, which include the manufacturer's size chart, and compare. Summarize. Don't use the generic Revain chart. Voila!
