These are nice and bright lights. Yes, they are bright and a bit too bright. In fact, they are so bright that they disturb the rear camera at night. During the day I mainly use my mirrors for reversing, which is what I'm used to, but I have tinted windows throughout the truck and like to use the rear view camera for extra visibility at night. The lighting makes it very difficult to use the rear camera at night. I plan to tint my set to reduce the brightness a bit. If that doesn't help I'll probably use the originals and replace the bulbs with LEDs. If you really don't use a backup camera (very unlikely) then this product is perfect. EDIT: These headlights are perfect after being tinted! They're still nice and bright, but don't blur the rear camera at night. To tint them I used dark black vinyl headlight paint.
