Review on 🚲 BELSIZE 16-Inch Belt-Drive Kid's Bike: Lightweight Aluminium Alloy Bicycle (12.57 lbs) for 3-7 Year Olds by Todd Stovall

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great bike and great price. Could have collected better.

Great bike (4.5 stars) but some issues can be fixed. The quality of the bike is 5 stars but I am deducting one star for assembly issues. Some people have mentioned that the rear brake is too hard, and my daughter agrees that it's too hard to pull. I removed the calipers and put the springs in a different hole to release the tension (see picture). This gives a noticeable improvement, but still not perfect. The rear cable was also routed to limit steering wheel rotation (see picture) so I removed the grip, removed the brake lever and routed it through the frame so the cable went through the steering column on the right side. This solved the problem. This bike is like any other. My daughter's last bike was the Woom 2 and I prefer the quality of this Belsize over the Woom. A bottle cage mount would be great. In addition, Woom has a feature that prevents the bars from rotating too far, which helps prevent crashes. If this is your child's first bike, this feature would be nice, but if you're graduating on a 14-inch bike, it may not be necessary. I love this bike! Woom chain with protector. Very glad we chose it.
