I was psyched to start gathering supplies for my forthcoming backpacking trip, so I headed straight to MOCOLY's web shop. The photos and descriptions of their outdoor gear on their website captivated me. However, the items I did receive were very different from my expectations. The sports equipment they sent me was my first source of dissatisfaction. The materials were too thin and weak to survive rigorous use, and the overall quality left a lot to be desired. The pants I received were similarly an improper fit, being too tight in the thighs and too loose everywhere else. I didn't think the gear was worth the money I spent on it. My backpacking excursion was the acid test for MOCOLY's camping gear. I bought their tent and sleeping bag since they claimed to be suitable for rough camping. But then I learned that wasn't the case at all. My tent started leaking water on the second night of my vacation, soaking me and my belongings in the middle of the night. I had to make a mad dash to locate safety and cut my trip short as a result. Even the sleeping bag was uncomfortable. I was surprised to find that it was so thin and inadequately insulated, given that it was advertised as being appropriate for cold weather. The cold and the discomfort prevented me from sleeping through the night. Despite the company's claims, MOCOLY's outdoor gear clearly wasn't built to survive severe weather. In conclusion, I think twice before making a purchase from MOCOLY's web store. Their online store makes their camping equipment look better than it is. Their items aren't worth buying if you take your outdoor pursuits seriously because of the low quality of their materials, poor fit, and lack of durability.
