Judging by the picture I thought it was a black cover. Upon closer inspection, I see that this is not the case. That is clear. Plastic siding is a type of plastic that won't stick to any surface, but if you're lucky it will stick to another surface. It fits very easily, almost too easily. I have kept my friends phone cases and many of them have a much larger grip. Clear backing provides a wet-finger grip. In this case, I have no confidence that I will not drop the phone myself.
