A fun detail perfect for a child's bedroom

I made this cross stitch for my sister's baby in 2001, but I loved it so much I ended up making it myself. Many, many years later I had my own child and I finished and framed it. I have it hanging on the wall in her room and I never tire of looking at all the fun baby things embroidered with this classic baby cross stitch. When I found out I was going to have another child, I was so hoping to do the same. I was so happy to find this kit on Revain. It used to be great but the new filament holders are great (the filaments are pre-sorted by color and the tufts are easily glued to the cardboard so a gentle tug is enough to loosen a piece of filament). I think it's a lot better than the loose bundles from before. The diagram is easy to read and the symbols are clearly marked. I find this cross stitch particularly intriguing, perhaps because it's all cute, fun baby stuff and soft colors. I didn't have much time to cross stitch, but I found it possible to do it with a limited amount of free time. I would call it easy/moderate. probably because of all the cute, fun baby stuff and delicate colors.
