I couldn't decide between Hamtom's Baby Corner Guards or Baby Mate Corner Guards so I ended up ordering both. The children's hamptoms are $13.99, which is $2 more than the children's hamptoms. For an additional $2, the baby hamptoms come with tape already attached to the protectors, while like the baby helper, I had to peel off each piece of tape and apply it to the item before attaching it. Both are sold as transparent. , but I found that the Hamptom child was very transparent while the Helper child was a bit opaque. I've had no problems with any product sticking to wood or stone surfaces. From my handshakes on each of these I'm guessing they offer the same level of protection for the child (bruise against eye gouges or acute angle bone fracture) In general they are about the same if you are on a tight budget and don't need a more opaque protector and you must Glue tape (3 pieces for each protector), use Baby Mate. If you're in a hurry and don't want to attach every little piece of tape, or you want the clearest thing, go for Hamptoms, baby.
