I have a lot of work with spreadsheets and data entry which usually results in me locking myself in my office all night, but I've been trying to do more of this work do on my laptop in the living room so I can spend more time with my family. As a result, I needed a small couch workstation where I could really work without getting tired. This laptop stand scores between a 3 or 4 out of 51 for two reasons. The legs are not adjustable in height, so they are a little high for me and not universal for all types of sofas.2. It has no built in padding or texture and is very smooth. Everything will slide over it and a bit of texture will go a long way to ensure my devices don't go too far. I bought a keyboard and mouse palm rest which really enhances this product and I still use them, but I really wish the feet were a little recessed or had some sort of zoom function. Otherwise it's a great product that suits my needs :)
