Review on Kingston DataTraveler SE9 32GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive for Reliable Data Storage (DTSE9H/32GBZ) by Makoto Maeda ᠌

Revainrating 1 out of 5

It's impossible to use it, don't waste your money.

After losing yet another flash drive, I've decided to write a review about the experience. I took three of these about a year and a half ago, thinking they would serve different reasons each time. As a direct consequence of this, each of the three flash disks failed at predictable intervals. Always in a secure location. There have not been any errors at any point. The computer suddenly quits seeing it at the most inconvenient possible time, and after that, there is no way to get it back. R-Studio was successful in recovering data two out of three times, however the flash drives were damaged beyond repair and could no longer be used for their intended purpose. It's possible that I come across as an old curmudgeon, but the fact of the matter is that a Transcend flash drive with 4 gigabytes of storage that is approximately 12 years old still functions and is utilized in a variety of situations.

Pros
  • - An uncluttered appearance - A form that is accommodating - Stable living quarters
Cons
  • - Some connectors are hard to fit\s- Data writing is rather slow\s- 3 such flash disks perished in 1.5 years
