Thought about waiting for or moving to AMD 5000 series but after AMD announced pricing. I'm so glad I have this! This is a great processor. It can handle pretty much anything you throw at it, and if you don't want to overclock, the thermal boost will give you great performance out of the box. Keep in mind that this is overkill if you're a casual gamer, a novice user, or someone who uses their computer to watch YouTube videos. Buy Zen2 Ryzen 5 or 7 and you will be happy. Also remember to get the right cooling solution as this thing is HOT!
