I bought my first Dremel 15 years ago but it ended up breaking. I could send it in for repair but it looks like the price will be at least half the price of this new version if not more. This seems to be the best of their wireless versions as based on the reviews their first version sounds like it had some issues. on the side rather than through them so you still want to use goggles. It also includes the EZ lock part which is nice. The case is a little smaller than my original lanyard case and they made the locks a little cheaper which are likely to break after sufficient use or if you are not careful. I tried putting the wireless in my old case but it's too big and the lid won't close, but at least it's a convenient place for all my accessories now. If you want to wait until Black Friday to buy, stores (and Revain sellers) will slowly increase prices a month or two beforehand, then list it as a Black Friday deal when it's actually the NORMAL price. So buy it in advance or buy it on Black Friday; but don't buy it 2-4 weeks in advance.
