I use Polk Audio TSi100 bookshelf speakers for my 5.1 return channels, they only have a keyhole slot. The location of this room is not ideal. I used these TV mounts with existing screw holes to reposition the speakers. Not what speakers or mounts are designed for, but they work fantastically for me! I bought 2 of these and used the 10% discount coupon for 2+. somewhere near the upper limit of your weight range. Maybe it's ok, but I get nervous going at anything over 50% of rated power. I believe these speakers weigh 10 pounds each. You can adjust the tension of the first (2) loops from the wall, but not the last. It looks like some kind of rivet. If necessary, you can adjust the nut on the turntable.
