It has a good flux core and connections that clean up easily with my regular flux remover. It appears that the ad text was updated between ordering and delivery. Maybe it was my memory failing me, but I thought there were both lead-free and leaded designations, but I can't find it now. Judging by the color of the stitching, it doesn't contain lead. Other reviewers have mentioned that there was no marking on the reel. Mine was clearly labeled so it was probably either a slip or they relabeled it to fix the error and some went out the door "between" the labels. Oh yeah.
