Review on Enhanced Philips BDP2501/F7 Blu-Ray DVD Player: Built-in Wi-Fi and HD Video Upscaling by Maurice Branch

I never thought of buying a Blue Ray disc or player because I fell for the hype that Blue Ray is better than any DVD movie or player! Then along came 4K or 4HD - whatever you want to call it - and the prices of Blue Ray discs and turntables plummeted! This new format forced Disney to release certain films I wanted only on Blue Ray, but at much lower prices. I realized it was time to find a Blue Ray player! I have 3 VHS and DVD combo players so I started looking for a DVD/Blue Ray combo player and Revain popped up in my search engine and I found this DVD/Blue Ray combo player! What I like about this player is that there are no separate compartments. Blue Rays and DVDs play on the same disc player and you have a choice of several different film formats to add using the appropriate cable box or your computer! Just one complaint, this player does not come with cable connections for TV, HDMI or USB and is not mentioned in the description. So if you buy it, be sure to order or buy an HDMI cable or whatever else you want to connect. with that player on hand when that player arrives! I had to wait to use this player until I got my HDMI cable which I also bought from Revain! I didn't have a spare HDMI cable and because of the pandemic I didn't want to look for one either!
