Amazing versatility and very solid feel in hand

Received these shears yesterday and haven't really worked with them. But I did some tests. The scissors cut easily through the penny while it was clamped in the vise, and the same scissors make very clean cuts on the edge of the paper napkin. Pretty amazing versatility. The latch that keeps the blades closed is designed so that when picking up a locked knife, a gentle squeeze on the two handles activates the latch and releases the blades for immediate use - no need to use your thumb or other hand to flip the lock. The edges of both blades have small serrations, and if a person were to re-sharpen them, the serrations would disappear. I don't know how chip removal affects cutting action. I am very happy with this tool and can't imagine how it can be sold for only twelve dollars with shipping. Made in Taiwan. By the way, over the past few years, I have noticed that many machines and tools made in Taiwan are of excellent quality.
