Buying these at such a low price, I wondered if that would mean that the binding would be flimsy and the paper too thin. I was willing to try since, if nothing else, they could be scribble notebooks while working.They far outdid my expectations!The big permanent Sharpie markers will go through the paper, sure, but their fine liners don't at all. Neither do BIC's Intensity fine liners. My Zebra Mildliners, Pentel Inkjoy gel pens and even my Gelly Roll gel pens all stay clear and clean with no seeping through. I've even tried cheaper glitter gel pens and ball point pens with success.I've been using sticky notes, washi tapes, stickers and glue sticks. The pages haven't rippled or warped a bit. I'm planning on trying watercolour at some point but even if they change the paper, for the price of these? I'll definitely still get them! These little notebooks are everything I wanted and then some. The bonus stencils were super fun, too! And the pocket at the back is so handy.Definitely worth a buy if you're looking for a sturdy day to day journal or even a scrapbook style! I'll be buying these again when the first ones are filled up.
