I just wanted a basic webcam with decent sound for family calls and online course. I had very limited needs and expectations. The sound quality when calling would be ok. The basic camera settings are also sufficient. The sound is very muffled and quiet. I have to speak with some force to be heard. The sound quality makes me sound like I'm screaming through a ceiling. The software has no way to adjust brightness or contrast. I have to close the blinds to keep the sun off my face. Manual focus lens. That's normal, it has a decent aperture and stays sharp during a normal conversation. However, when it is out of focus, the image looks very grainy and blurry. Not very good. Actually not good at all.
