First I would like to say that since I am ill and housebound I have to keep track of every penny I spend and before I decided to buy YOUR brand socks I spent a month on it Team to look through every woman's socks. Sock available (read both positive and negative reviews). I've always been a loyal Hanes customer but their quality has deteriorated over the years. In the end I decided to try your socks. I wear size 7 shoes, I'm 5'6" and weigh less than 100 pounds. My legs are quite thin due to illness and inactivity. I washed all 12 pairs of socks in lukewarm water (as directed on the packaging) and dried them on hangers in the closet (dryer out of order). In the hand the socks feel soft and it seems padded in all the right places, on the foot these socks are the worst socks I have ever seen/worn in my life. They're too tight even for my skinny legs (restrict blood flow) and I can barely spread them wide enough to fit my foot. I have never experienced a sock that is so tight that it doesn't give a load. I was always able to open the sock wide enough for my foot to go in without touching the inside of the shin. Another terrible thing about these socks are the toes. Maybe mine are all defective, each sock has a large amount of excess material on the outside edge of the thumb and pinky. So much so that it's impossible to wear them in my slippers. It's too tight and painful with all that extra stuff. I needed socks so badly and now I don't know what to do. I know this may not sound like much to some, but this is the most I've ever spent on two packs of 6 socks. Hans has always been cheaper. I wish I could buy socks like I did before I got sick (little things I took for granted). I'll try to attach pictures so you can see what I'm talking about. Revain, I would like a refund, please. I think I have the right to ask.
