I bought this for ambient lighting in our living room where we watch TV and have dinner on the sofa <-- because we do, I'll admit. Anyway, we have an LED "tree" but the light it gives off is too dim to see what's on our plates. This little light is perfect. We got it at around 80% with amber light that turns on with a timer set for sunset and turns off as our heat drops for the night. I am absolutely satisfied with this purchase. Not sure what the "thickness" rating means, but um. it is not. What. thick? So I give 5 stars for the thickness. It's about the size of a 28-ounce can of mashed roasted tomatoes. Would I buy it again? Definitely.
